Testing Photo Transfer

My gel medium arrived the other day.  I was really excited about because I could now try to do a photo transfer.  I tried one before using gesso -didn't work well.  This time it transferred, not perfect but pretty cool all the same.

I used a photocopy of my charcoal drawing to make an artist trading card.  Next time I will not be using cardstock paper!  As you can see the image didn't transfer clearly and for some reason there is some pink and blue which showed up?  I think I actually like this better this way, the face is clear but the background is abstract with the mixture of color.  I added flowers found in a magazine mainly to cover up the edges which were still white.  The flowers throw it off but for a first try it's fine.
